CHALLENGE STARTS: Monday, 11th March 2019

  • 8-week, gym based challenge
  • Once you have completed the eight weeks with us, you can choose to repeat the program or just keep the guide aside for when you want a shape up and lean down challenge again.
  • There are 5 workout days each week – including legs 1, upper body 1, full body, upper body 2 and legs 2.
  • We have optional HIIT workouts which can be done on the 6th day should you wish.
  • We recommend at least 1-2 rest days per week throughout this program.
  • Type of exercises to expect:
    • Mostly free weights and some machine work (shaping up) mixed with a HIIT factor/workouts (leaning down)
  • Equipment needed:
    • Machines: Cable machine, abductor machine, smith machine, pull up/assisted pull up machine and seated row machine.
    • Free weights: Barbell, Dumbbells, plates and / or kettlebell
    • Other: Mat, skipping rope, bench, step, soft box and resistance band
  • In addition to your training eguide, we have created daily workout videos to help guide you through your program. These videos are available on the PRIVATE Glow Girls 8- Week Gym Shape Up & Lean Down Facebook Group.

  • Workout durations:
    • Anywhere between 20 minutes – 1 hour (the duration will depend on which workout day it is and on the pace that you keep during the workouts). As you progress during the 8-weeks you will be amazed and how your strength, fitness and recovery between reps and sets improves!
  • All workouts reps, set and time holds can be adjusted to suit your fitness level, time availability and lifestyle if need be.
  • Suitable for all fitness levels (except those nursing injuries, if you are pregnant or postpartum).
  • You need to be injury free and in good health to do this program safely and effectively.
  • Dietician approved meal plan. Includes macros, recipes, shopping list. Vegan and non-vegan meal plan options available.
